To download and to run the DevCon utility, follow these steps: Download the DevCon compressed file, and then extract the files. Does anyone know how to do software audio loopback in Windows? For MIDI I use this loopMIDI software that makes a virtual MIDI port so I can take the output of one virtual MIDI device and convert it to the input of another. I would like to do this with pure audio too. Though only available on Windows, VB-Audio Virtual Cable offers equivalent functionality to what Loopback offers macOS, with support for audio signal routing and passthrough, recording, and multichannel support. What the hell am I doing wrong that I am unable to bring in audio with Loopback from Chrome or Skype into my OBS/YouTube stream? I downloaded WavTap as that has a dedicated, pinned thread in this forum but apparently that is no longer supported(?). Anyhow, several dropdown menus in these apps provide no option and I'm spinning my wheels so any help is appreciated.
Objective: A YouTube show with 2 hosts. I am connected via Thunderbolt (we're all squared here, audio and video are great). Co-host connected via live audio from Google Voice (ideally wanted Skype but that failed)
On my MacBook Pro 2012
> Output device: 'Loopback Audio'
In Loopback app
> Create Virtual Device: 'Loopback Audio' (Chrome). Default settings with 'mute audio sources' box checked, 'monitor audio through' box checked with 'built-in output' as the selection
In OBS settings/preferences
> Audio>Desktop Audio Device (disabled). I cannot change this, there is no other option
> Audio>Mic/auxillary Audio Device (Loopback Audio)
In OBS sources
>Add>Audio Output Capture..the device dropdown is blank and has no options

Virtual Audio Cable. Score: 88% No save wanted the speaker output? (return), this is for you. Windows sound recorder or voice recorder app can’t help you record the sound coming from your Windows PC. Aktuell 3 6 – modern intuitive elegant news reader. You will need a third party sound recorder. Audacity is one of the most popular ones. Its Windows WASAPI loopback recording solution can help Windows users easily record the sound your computer is outputting from its speakers.
Features
PassMark SoundCheck™ is a Windows based application that allows users to test their PC sound card, speakers and microphone. Verify that your sound card can record and playback sounds at various audio sample rates. Check the capability of your speakers to reproduce the highest and lowest frequencies (and your capability to hear these frequencies). Create perfectly formed test tones and loop them back into your sound card to look for distortion using PassMark audio loopback cables. Graveyard keeper 1 205 for mac free download. SoundCheck also provides an audio FX test and a surround sound test to analyse those advanced sound card features.
Loopback Audio Windows Alternative
Stereo or mono sound can be recorded and played back at a variety of sample rates and resolutions. SoundCheck includes a built-in tone generator that allows test tones to be generated at a selected frequency and sampling rate. This can be done using waveforms such as sine waves, saw tooth waves, white noise, and square waves. The waveform can be plotted and frequency spectrum graphed in real time using fast Fourier transform algorithms.
